Note on phonology:

Generally spelt as makhulu (i.e. with a fully voiced labial nasal [m]. This transcription however is inconsistent with the pronunciation of the phoneme. The word is pronounced with the slack voiced labial nasal [m̤] sound. Here we use mh which is the more appropriate transcription.
